Fresh[wo]men Info

Dear Fresh[wo]men!

On this page you will find valuable information, links as well as „Tips & Tricks“ to help you get started.

The Institute for Business Informatics (WIN) also has a page on the entry into studies. Of course we do not want to withhold this from you.

Do you have further questions? Then contact us by mail at mitglieder@fsi-winf.de!

In order to answer questions and stay in contact with you, we create a Facebook group for each class.

For the WS 19/20 here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/253212752256314/

Furthermore there is the general group for all winflers of FAU: https://www.facebook.com/groups/winffau/

Let’s go!

Fresh[wo]men information

FSI? What is that?

FSI means Fachschaftsinitiative – we are students who want to stand up for you and your problems and improve the conditions in your studies. We help each other with information and together we keep ourselves up to date.

Parking

In order to use the WISO underground car park, applications must be made. The fee of 55 €uro has to be paid only once at the WISO. The WISO application form can be found here.

How does the first week of study go?

You can find the official schedule of the first week here (comming soon). Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Timetable

In the first semester you should preferably take the courses from your Management or Computer Science Track. You are free to decide which other subjects you want to take. Please note that some computer science subjects from the summer semester are based on the subjects of the winter semester.

How can I arrange my timetable?

Call this address: Univis entry page (go to the section Teaching Lectures and Module Directory by study program ->Select Business Informatics / International Information Systems ->Select Course Catalogue (IIS-MA) ->Select 1st Semester)
Select the lectures / exercises / tutorials / courses as you wish (For example, there should be no overlapping of time. Travel routes Erlangen <-> include Nuremberg!)
Make your selection by ticking the checkbox, scroll down to the bottom and click on „Restrict display from selection“.
You can then view the timetable on the top left-hand side ?
