This semester „What is WIN?“ and the „WInfnacht“ will take place on the same day!
On the 17th of December at 5 p.m., „What is WIN?“ will begin and at 7 p.m., the „WInfnacht“ will start. Come join us on Zoom!

Dear IIS Students,
Welcome to the best master`s program in information systems there is! In the name of the currrent students and the student council I want to welcome you at the FAU and in the IIS.
A little overview over the next few days:
- Monday: Study Start and Official Welcome by the WIN (https://virtuelle-veranstaltungen.expo-ip.com/)
- Tuesday 17:30: Inofficial Welcome with Tipps&Tricks, Studyplan creation, election of class representatives and Get-together from fellow students and the student council. (ZOOM: https://fau.zoom.us/j/7213897521, FB: https://fb.me/e/1X70Zxump)
-Thursday: First Meeting of the student council for Inforamtion Systems
Sadly, we could not organize events in presence due to the COVID-19 Situation, but we were very happy that some of you already took care of that. As you know, there are different program structures which have all there Tricks that lead to a better and easier study experience. Therefore, we highly recommend to join the Inofficial Welcome on Tuesday to answer your quesitons and show you the best practices.

Liebe Erstsemester Studierende Wirtschaftsinformatik,
Herzlich Willkommen an der FAU und im besten Studiengang, den es gibt!
Im Namen der FSI, dem (gerade hier) Zwischenglied zwischen Studierenden, Studiengangskoordination und Mentorenprogramm/Projektwoche, möchte ich euch kurz einen Überblick über eure nächste Woche geben:
Montag 9:00 Uhr: Treffen an der Insel Schütt für Stadttour mit Mentoren.
Montag nach Stadttour: Treffen am Josephs für eine Begrüßung durch den Studierendenkoordinator&Stuve und Vorstellung des Josephs. Uhrzeiten: Spanien 13:00 Uhr; Mexico 13:45 Uhr; Australien 14:30 Uhr; Japan 15:15 Uhr.
Montag 20:00 Uhr Online Barabend mit Kennenlernrunden über Zoom
Dienstag 9:00 Uhr: Start in die WIN Projektwoche über Zoom -> Wie geht das? Siehe Josephs Vortrag.
Mittwoch 17:30 Uhr: Inofficial Welcome durch die FSI WInf/IIS - hier erhaltet ihr die Tipps, wie euer WInf Studium nur halb so schwer sein wird und wir machen einen Online Spieleabend und ein Uni Quiz (hier gibt es sogar eine lustigen Preis höhö)

"What is WIN?" - Get your theses!
Are you a little overwhelmed and don’t know where to write your thesis or do your seminar? Do you even know all of our WIN chairs? The FSI Winf/IIS has got you covered. Join us Thursday, April 23 at 7 pm to get to know all the chairs of “Institut Wirtschaftsinformatik”.
How? With the first edition of our new event <a href=”What is WIN?”>.
The event will consist of two blocks of chair presentations with a short break in between. It’s the opportunity to get to know all the chairs and their research topics all in one go. As well as to learn all about how to get into your desired seminar or learn how to apply for a thesis.
So whether you are studying Winf, IIS or are just generally curious – please join us online in the zoom lifestream.
